Terms and Conditions

These terms cover this website. The terms of an actual order — what it costs, when it will be ready, what happens if it needs altering — are agreed with you directly before any work starts. This page does not set them and does not override what we agree with you.

Who these terms are with

The Boss Tailor, a bespoke tailor working in Bangkok, Thailand, contactable on +66 91 105 1152 by phone or WhatsApp. We do not operate a public shop; fittings take place at your hotel, office or residence.

This website is not a shop

There is nothing to buy on this site. You cannot place an order, pay, or enter into a contract here. There is no checkout and no form.

Nothing on this site is a binding offer. The pages describe what we make and how the work is done, so that you know what you are asking for before you ask. An order exists only once we have discussed it with you and agreed it.

We do not publish prices here, deliberately

You will not find a price list on this site. What a garment costs depends on the cloth, the construction and what you want made, and a figure published out of that context would be misleading rather than helpful. Ask us and we will tell you before anything is cut.

If you see a price quoted for us anywhere else, it did not come from this site.

Orders, fittings and alterations

  • Garments are made to your measurements, for you. That is what bespoke means, and it is why the terms of each order are agreed individually.
  • We come to you. Fittings happen at the address you give us, at a time we arrange together.
  • Altering the garment to fit is part of making it, not an extra service bolted on afterwards. If something is not right at a fitting, say so — that is what the fitting is for.
  • Price, delivery date, the number of fittings, cancellation and what happens if you change your mind are all agreed with you before work begins. Ask about any of them and we will answer plainly.

Because a bespoke garment is cut for one person, it cannot simply be resold if an order is abandoned midway. That is the reason we settle the terms with you first rather than leaving them to a page like this one.

Reviews and photographs shown here

The reviews on this site were written by customers on Google and Tripadvisor. They are quoted in the customer’s own words, shown with the photographs those customers chose to attach, and every one links back to the original so you can check it at the source. We do not edit them, and we do not publish a review that cannot be linked.

The guides on this site

The guides explain how cloth, construction and fitting work, in general terms. They are written to help you ask better questions, not to guarantee a particular outcome for a particular garment. What we will actually do for you is what we agree with you.

The content of this site

The text and photographs on this site belong to The Boss Tailor or to the customers who took them, except where they are credited to someone else. You are welcome to quote or link to a page. Please do not republish whole pages, or present our photographs as your own work.

This site links out to Google, Tripadvisor and WhatsApp. We do not control those services and are not responsible for them. Once you follow a link you are on their terms, not ours.

Availability

This is a small business’s website. We keep it up and correct, but we do not promise it will be reachable at every moment, and we may change or remove pages as what we offer changes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Thailand, and any dispute about this website will be dealt with by the Thai courts. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

Changes

We may update this page. The date at the top says when it last changed. The terms of an order you have already placed do not change because this page did.
