What you are actually paying for

A bespoke jacket is mostly the parts you never see. Here is one being made, in four stages.

Cut, and bastedIt begins as a shell, tacked together in white thread and tried on before a single seam is finished. What does not fit is unpicked.

Worked with a needleThe buttonhole is cut and worked by hand, and the pick-stitching runs the length of the lapel edge. A machine cannot do either.

Finished, and wornThe lining is the part only the wearer sees, and it is chosen the same way the cloth is — by you, across a counter.

How we work

The whole process comes to you, in three parts:

  1. We come to you

    Cloth, tape and bunch books arrive at your hotel, office or home anywhere in Bangkok. Nothing about the first appointment asks you to cross the city.

  2. Your own pattern

    Drafted to your measurements rather than adjusted from a block, then kept on file, so a second order never needs another trip.

  3. Fitted until it is right

    We come back for each fitting and the garment is adjusted on you, across several appointments, before it leaves us.
